What is Telehealth?

Telehealth, also known as telemedicine, allows a provider to provide care for you without an in-person office visit. It is done primarily online with internet access on your computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Virtual visits are becoming more popular. Though in-person office visits may be necessary in certain cases, telehealth care offers many benefits. Nearly 75% of all doctor, urgent care and ER visits are either unnecessary or could be handled safely and effectively over the phone or computer at a fraction of the cost.
